Senior Technical Program Manager - Software Delivery

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of complex IT software delivery projects, ensuring on-time completion and achievement of project goals.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver programs and projects aligned with business needs.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and communication strategies to drive project success.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID), communicating updates and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources across IT and business teams, monitor project progress, report status, and adjust plans as needed to ensure deliverables are met.
• Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, translate business needs into technical requirements, and drive continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with IT platforms and integrations (e.g., BSS, OSS, Network).
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT project management, with a significant focus on software delivery projects.
• Proven expertise in leading projects using agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in the retail wireless or telecommunications industry.
• Experience in risk management, change management, and stakeholder management within a project context.
• Project Management or Software Delivery certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, ACP, CSM, CSPO).
• Familiarity with enterprise software release processes and knowledge of cloud services such as AWS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical teams, business partners, and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in project management and software delivery tools, including Jira, Confluence, and GSuite.
• Collaborative problem-solving approach with the ability to navigate complex IT and business environments and adapt to change.
• Demonstrated leadership in diverse teams with formal knowledge of project management principles, processes, and tools.

Nice to Have

• Project Management or Software Delivery certifications such as PMP, ACP, CSM, CSPO.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.
