Senior Vice President, ETF Product Management

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Write specifications for minor features and contribute to specifications for major features within the ETF platform.
• Negotiate the implementation of current work and make trade-off decisions to ensure high-quality product launches.
• Assess the quality and readiness of features and escalate issues when necessary.
• Work with teams to make recommendations that deliver maximum value to the ETF ecosystem quickly.
• Formulate business questions and track down data to inform decisions related to customer insights.
• Use low fidelity tools to outline design approaches and translate them into higher fidelity representations.
• Maintain regular contact with product users and prioritize ETF roadmap decisions based on multiple sources.
• Lead product management and strategy for large and complex projects within ETF Services.
• Understand the economics behind ETF investment vehicles and demonstrate business acumen.
• Leverage market knowledge to incorporate regional demands and stay ahead of competitors.
• Develop ideas for new products, services, and technology supporting ETF workflows.
• Manage the development, enhancement, profitability, and market penetration of ETF-related products.
• Position capabilities for specific client types, highlighting benefits and competitive advantages.
• Engage with Sales and Relationship Management to support business development.
• Perform product demonstrations and develop user materials for clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 4-6 years of direct ETF Services, ETF Product, ETF Capital Markets, or ETF AP Desk experience.
• 6-8 years of overall financial services experience preferred.
• Ability to write specifications for features and contribute to product development.
• Strong negotiation skills and decision-making ability regarding implementation.
• Experience in formulating business questions and analyzing data.
• Market knowledge of ETF investment vehicles and understanding of business economics.
• Ability to lead large and complex product strategies.

• MBA or CFA preferred.
