About the Role

The Senior Vice President- Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies within the financial services sector. This role involves building platform positioning, value propositions, and messaging to resonate with clients and the market, while collaborating across functions to drive business results and support growth in market platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive marketing strategies that support business priorities to grow markets platforms businesses, with a focus on setting clear goals and quantifying commercial impact.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the business from positioning through to sales enablement.
  • Build platform positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with clients and the market to highlight differentiation.
  • Create and maintain a sales enablement suite of materials, building a growing set of marketing tools and literature to support demand generation, client lifecycle marketing, sales, and account development.
  • Identify product synergies across the broader enterprise.
  • Act as a cross-functional leader who unites marketing, commercial, client success, and product teams to drive business results.
  • Collaborate with business partners including product development, sales, and relationship management teams, as well as specialist marketing and communications teams to execute deliverables.
  • Develop deep knowledge about the products, client segments, and the competitive environment.
  • Proven ability in developing and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, particularly from Banks.
  • Proven ability in developing and executing comprehensive product marketing strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning.
  • People leader with strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of marketing principles, customer insights, and emerging trends in product marketing within financial services.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in product marketing strategy development and execution.
  • Candidates with a sound understanding of the investment ecosystem and knowledge of asset servicing, custody, and/or fund administration is preferable.
