SEO Director

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement holistic, sustainable SEO roadmaps, processes, and programs to generate revenue by building engaging and high-performing websites.
• Enhance visibility, authority, organic traffic, and conversions for client websites.
• Identify and implement optimizations in crawling, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site speed, structured data markup, metadata, and UX.
• Collaborate with developers to create and implement long-term technical solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify content strategy and optimization opportunities.
• Perform in-depth competitive research and keyword analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Develop on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, headers, and keyword-rich content.
• Work with content creators to produce SEO-friendly, high-impact content briefs.
• Monitor, report, and analyze SEO performance, including keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates.
• Provide ongoing training to the team on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven success in developing and executing large-scale SEO strategies.
• Strong technical SEO knowledge, including Core Web Vitals, structured data, and site architecture.
• Experience managing SEO for multi-location or service-based businesses (legal industry a plus).
• Exceptional analytical skills and familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: SEO: 5 years (Required)
• Digital marketing: 3 years (Required)
