Short Term Forecast\/Demand Management Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Use STF and DM files primarily in Excel, including formula writing, data linking, and power pivots, requiring moderate to advanced Excel skills.
• Maintain STF/DM models, including making changes, updates, and ensuring consistency.
• Support all key STF objectives and deadlines, focusing on data collection, consolidation, analysis, and accuracy.
• Participate in regional and global STF and DM meetings.
• Support analysis for all STF and DM business requirements.
• Maintain STF and DM data population, reporting, and publishing requirements, ensuring model and report accuracy.
• Manage STF/DM access levels, distribution lists, SharePoint, and PowerBI dashboard security updates.
• Propose, coordinate, and maintain the STF calendar, meetings, and updates.
• Act as a backup for the NA DM Analyst and other STF/DM Analysts when resources are unavailable.
• Support the implementation of forecast and demand management model and process improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Analyst in Commercial, Business, or Finance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a similar field.
• Proven ability to manage complex data sets.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Kairos, Databricks, SQL.
• Moderate to advanced knowledge in MS Excel, Power BI Dashboards, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented, organized, and focused.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively across functional areas and cultures.
• Team player with initiative to meet objectives and identify process improvements.
• Resilient under pressure, able to maintain focus amidst deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of optical fiber manufacturing and products.
• Commercial experience within the telecommunications industry.
• Background as a business analyst or in a finance role.
• Experience working with international regions and cultures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or similar.
• At least 2 years of relevant analyst experience in commercial, business, or finance roles.
