About the Role

The Social Media Advertising Strategist (Remote US) role is part of the newly launched Abe Agency within Directive, a specialized consultancy focused on social media advertising for B2B clients. The position involves building innovative strategies to leverage LinkedIn for client engagement, reach, and conversions. This role offers an opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing, future-focused agency that values the best ideas and a growth mindset. The strategist will work directly with mid-market and enterprise clients, supporting the creation and execution of paid media campaigns, and contributing to the agency's transformational growth in social media marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts.
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts.
  • Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, work quality, and improvements.
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns.
  • Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions.
  • Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM.
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional network.
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI.
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns.
  • Manage approximately five mid-tier and enterprise accounts.
  • Meet and exceed department KPIs such as client growth and goal attainment.
  • Build client trust and relationships for renewals.
  • Communicate results effectively with clients and executives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency, preferably with B2B clients.
  • Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads.
  • Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV, and more.
  • Proficiency with advertising platforms and tools like LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, etc.
  • Strong understanding of paid principles including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms.
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts.
  • Ability to translate strategy into data-driven stories.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access and operate necessary office tools.

Nice to Have

  • Bonus for experience in B2B marketing.
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Experience with OCT (Optimization, Conversion, Testing) metrics.

Qualifications

  • Established work authorization for the US or other specified countries.
  • Ability to operate a laptop and necessary office productivity tools.
  • Reliable internet access.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and interpret written/verbal communication.
