About the Role

The Social Media Community and Influencer Partnerships Manager will have a passion for all things social media and pet content but be driven to provide results of these efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our organic social media presence, engage with our Pet community, and build strong partnerships with influencers. You will work closely with various teams at PetSmart like Marketing, Media, PR and Customer Care along with leading filming content, to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to our social and influencer efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and lead influencer partnerships across all PetSmart channels and campaigns that amplify reach and impact
  • Lead on strategizing and producing content for informative pillar in PetSmart's social strategy
  • Bring PetSmart proactive opportunities across the vast pet influencer and creator networks
  • Work with social platforms and content creators to elevate PetSmart as the hub and go-to social source for all pet related content
  • Own in-house influencer contracts/partnerships and have direct experience with influencer negotiation/relationships
  • Attend and lead full concept to production filming for in and out of state events (events tend to be on the weekends usually once a month)
  • Edit influencer/informative assets for paid social
  • Monitor and analyze social media and influencer campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies and achieve KPIs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in managing organic social media and influencer partnerships, preferably in Retail
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers and community members
  • Paid Social experience in managing, optimizing or editing assets for paid campaigns
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and innovative content
  • Analytical skills to measure and report on social media and influencer campaign performance
  • Familiarity with social media tools: Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Salesforce, Adobe, Social Platform's various ads/business managers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in a retail environment
  • Experience with content creation and filming
  • Knowledge of pet industry trends
