Influencer Marketing Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the brand and content team to execute on (and fine tune) existing, comprehensive influencer marketing strategy
• Ensure influencer strategy continues to be aligned with broader content marketing strategy and brand goals
• Identify and engage influencers, owning the relationship between influencers/creators and The Vita Coco Company
• Manage communication to ensure it aligns with brand tone of voice (TOV)
• Own the in-house influencer tool (GRIN) from vetting to contracting to reporting
• Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end influencer marketing campaigns, including setting goals, aligning on KPIs, drafting briefs, finalizing contracts, and managing budgets
• Ensure Vita Coco is getting competitive rates and exceeding industry benchmarks for engagement, CPM, and CPE
• Collaborate with influencers to develop authentic content that resonates with the target audience and aligns with brand values
• Nurture and maintain strong relationships with influencers and agents to ensure successful collaborations
• Monitor and analyze influencer campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights
• Stay current with influencer marketing trends, best practices, and emerging platforms
• Attend industry events and network within the influencer marketing community

Requirements

• 1-3 years of Influencer Marketing or relevant agency experience
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and successful tactics for growing followers, engagement, and impressions
• Proficient knowledge across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external teams
• Self-starter with the ability to follow processes and generate new ideas
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking
• Trend awareness across social platforms and ability to identify integration opportunities
• Great negotiating skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to move fast, break some rules, and have fun

Nice to Have

• Passion for bringing a CPG brand to life on social media
• Experience with influencer marketing tools and platforms beyond GRIN
• Experience working in or with the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in influencer marketing or agency work
• Proficiency with social media platforms and content development
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Estimated salary range of $50,000-$60,000 (may vary based on location and experience)
