Future Opportunities: starpower - Influencer and Entertainment Marketing, Beauty (Multiple Levels)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and mine beauty & entertainment news publications, social media channels, blogs, and broadcast to identify opportunities, potential partners, and relevant information for clients
• Manage day-to-day communications with clients, influencers, celebrities, agents, managers & publicists
• Support execution of influencer seeding campaigns and content programs
• Participate in data entry, evaluation, and database management; leverage agency tools and technology to analyze and provide data for clients
• Develop proactive and reactive gifting lists and mechanisms
• Submit and monitor organic content to ensure all partners meet brand and FTC safety checks
• Coordinate and participate in meetings between starpower account teams and clients
• Support overall growth of the agency, including new business & networking
• Mentor and develop junior staff (senior levels)
• Provide strategic recommendations and point of view to clients (senior levels)

Requirements

• Experience interacting with beauty brands, agencies (public relations & advertising), influencers, celebrities, agents, managers & publicists
• Innate passion and curiosity for pop-culture/entertainment, as well as a passion for the beauty space, including but not limited to skincare, haircare, fragrance, and color cosmetics
• Digital/social media savviness with proficient understanding of Instagram, TikTok and relevant social platforms for influencer content
• Strong organizational, written and verbal skills with phenomenal attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Experience with Influencer and Social Media tools including Traackr, CreatorIQ, Tribe Dynamics, and Captiv8 (required for Senior Account Executive and above, preferred for other levels)
• Agency or talent desk experience strongly preferred
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Naturally creative and able to utilize creative and writing skills in influencer and client-facing materials
• Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders (Senior Account Executive and above)
• Experience mentoring junior teammates (Senior Account Executive and above)
• Proven track record of driving successful influencer programs (Associate Director)
• Deep relationships within the beauty and entertainment industry (Associate Director)
• Strategic thinking and business acumen (Associate Director)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Influencer and Social Media tools including Traackr, CreatorIQ, Tribe Dynamics, and Captiv8 (preferred for levels below Senior Account Executive)
