About the Role

Omni Hilton Head is seeking a talented Social Media Coordinator to create and maintain a strong online presence for the company. Located at the Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort, the role involves implementing online marketing strategies through social media accounts, developing original content, and increasing web traffic and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a social marketing plan that specifically engages our target audiences
  • Create engaging text, image, and video content based on marketing plan
  • Design posts to sustain readers' curiosity and create buzz around new promotions
  • Build online following and track ROI
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Engage with associates across all departments to contribute to media content
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
  • Develop and maintain an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Oversee social media accounts' layout
  • Engage local attractions and events to give new and existing Omni customers reasons to visit

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytical skills

Nice to Have

  • BS degree in Marketing, New Media, or relevant field
  • Experience researching buyer and consumer personas
  • Understanding of social media KPIs
  • Experience with web page design and publishing
  • Proficiency in business posts on social media platforms

  • One or more years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role
  • Must be able to multitask
