Social Media Intern - Humanities

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Produce content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and/or Snapchat.
• Attend events and capture photographs and videos to document the event.
• Write student and faculty feature stories and profiles.
• Generate social media posts, source images for and update/create website content.

Requirements

• Familiarity and experience with the social media platforms utilized by Fairmont State University.
• Previous experience with photo and video image-editing software.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time well.

Qualifications

• Student appointment length: Academic Year.
• Base hourly rate: $10.00-13.00.
