About the Role

The Wildcat Advantage and Internship Department is dedicated to connecting students with High Impact Educational Experiences. The internship side of our department is dedicated to connecting students with valuable work experience opportunities. We believe in empowering students to grow professionally and gain practical skills. We are looking to establish a strong social media presence to better connect with students and promote internship opportunities and information. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a social media presence from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a social media strategy for the Internships Department, with a primary focus on Instagram.
Create engaging and visually appealing content, including graphics, short videos, and stories, relevant to student internships and career development.
Design social media templates for future use, ensuring brand consistency.
Assist in maintaining a consistent brand identity across all social media visuals and digital materials.
Collaborate with the Internships Department team to understand their communication goals and translate them into social media content.
Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for increased engagement.
Work on multiple social media projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Requirements

Ability to develop and execute social media strategies, particularly on Instagram.
Experience creating engaging visual content such as graphics, videos, and stories.
Skill in designing social media templates and maintaining brand consistency.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to understand team goals.
Ability to monitor trends and identify engagement opportunities.
Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
