Social Media Manager & Content Creator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging content and video content for social media featuring applications, customers, and products
• Make social media specific content from other marketing assets
• Work closely with engineers and product team members to produce compelling product-based video content
• Manage Formlabs social media channels including YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, and Facebook
• Maintain social calendar for all channels
• Manage engagements, comments, and DMs to foster community interaction
• Grow Formlabs social presence and identify growth opportunities by channel
• Report on social performance across channels and set goals for improvement
• Collaborate with internal and external content creators, including talent branding, to onboard, guide, and repurpose content
• Create social-specific campaigns for launches, marketing initiatives, customer stories, and key events
• Coordinate with Creative and Content teams to develop social assets that reflect the brand
• Manage product-related social posts about new products, materials, updates, and applications
• Identify and develop compelling user stories, customer experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments into engaging content
• Expand social channels internationally and coordinate with Localization teams
• Foster Formlabs community on social media through regular engagement with community members, creators, and partners
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to address needs through social media

Requirements

• Understanding the basics and principles of design to maintain high visual standards
• Strong project management skills, with experience in tools like Asana preferred
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, or equivalent
• Knowledge of visual storytelling, composition, graphic design basics, camera operation, and lighting
• Familiarity with scheduling tools like Sprout Social or similar platforms
• Experience with Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, Salesforce, and social media dashboards
• Ability to rapidly adapt and jump between tasks in a fast-paced, spontaneous environment
