About the Role

The Big Salad in Trenton, MI is seeking a content creator for a paid internship to support marketing initiatives. The role involves developing high-quality copy for websites, social media, and marketing materials, while contributing to branding and understanding market competitors. The position offers part-time hours with potential for extension into a more permanent role after graduation.

Key Responsibilities

Creating visual content (videos, photos, graphics etc.) including visiting stores to capture content for social media channels
Keeping up with and understanding social platforms
Staying on top of trends and trending content
Storytelling
Collaborating with the Big Salad team

Requirements

Outstanding copywriting, social media, or video production skills
Ability to work effectively without oversight
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Superb organizational and time-management abilities

Nice to Have

Current student attending a university for marketing, communications, journalism or other business related field
Experience creating high-quality marketing content
Capable of managing multiple competing priorities
In-depth knowledge of Canva
Comprehensive understanding of impactful marketing tactics
