Key Responsibilities

  • Originates creative, engaging, and optimized content that adheres to AP Style and brand guidelines.
  • Develops and maintains an annual content calendar for social media accounts.
  • Collaborates with marketing and communications teams on large campaigns and initiates plans for general coverage needs.
  • Tracks monthly social media metrics and recommends new tactics based on data analysis.
  • Monitors general marketplace trends, platform-specific news, and updates to stay current.
  • Performs regular audits to ensure account integrity and security, adhering to internal policies.
  • Sets up and monitors paid social ads on multiple platforms and reports on performance.
  • Responds quickly to team members and internal/external clients, managing social media engagement.
  • Provides coverage at in-person events and develops post-event content strategies.
  • Organizes time, assets, and accounts efficiently, keeping records for reference.
  • Adjusts priorities easily among tasks and manages urgencies according to organizational needs.
  • Tracks and reports on social media performance and recommends adjustments to meet goals.
  • Remains current on platform functionalities, technology changes, and targeting options.
  • Supports and represents Buckner at events and activities as needed.
  • Responds to private messages and comments across social media platforms promptly and appropriately.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of corporate social media experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, social media, English, communications, journalism, or advertising.
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team and develop strong working relationships.
  • Willingness to attend meetings at various locations and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Ability to manage program resources efficiently and align them with business objectives.
  • Ability to support and represent Buckner at events and activities.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds continuously.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform prolonged periods of work.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with social media advertising platforms and analytics tools.
  • Experience in content marketing strategy development.
  • Ability to test and develop content marketing tactics based on data insights.

Qualifications
