Social Media Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies for multiple clients
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content including written posts, graphics, and videos for organic social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Attend in-person client video shoots
• Plan, capture, and deliver video content tailored to each client's brand and voice
• Collaborate with graphic designers to create visuals and edit videos
• Write captions and video hooks
• Manage day-to-day social media activities, including posting, responding to comments, and engaging with clients' communities
• Analyze trends and track performance to optimize campaigns
• Report performance to clients on a monthly basis or more frequently
• Stay updated on emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices

Requirements

• Experience in social media management or content creation
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and performance metrics (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Excellent writing skills and storytelling ability
• Knowledge of analytics tools and social media scheduling platforms
• Great communication skills for presenting reports and building client confidence
• Creative thinker with attention to detail and brand consistency
• Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent follow-through
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects
• Understanding and effective utilization of AI in content creation processes
• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, or equivalent
• 3+ years of content creation experience focused on social media
• 2+ years of agency-side experience managing social media accounts for multiple clients

Nice to Have

• Experience with video production and editing
• Familiarity with social media advertising and paid campaigns
• Knowledge of emerging social media trends and new platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, or equivalent
• 3+ years of content creation experience with a focus on social media
• 2+ years of agency-side experience developing engaging content and managing social media accounts for multiple clients
