About the Role

The Social Media Specialist will work closely with key business stakeholders, including the internal creative and marketing teams, and external media agencies to plan and execute organic social campaigns across BrandsMart's social channels. This role involves developing collaborative relationships, managing social media content, monitoring engagement, and supporting community initiatives within a high-energy, incentive-based environment at a leading Consumer Electronics and Appliance Retailer in the Southeast.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to execute paid campaigns across social media
Lead internal creative team through concept creation, approvals, and optimizations for organic social
Monitor social platforms and campaigns for community reception, engagement, and advertising efficacy
Moderate social company pages and customer reviews on platforms like PowerReviews, Google Business, and Yext
Manage relationships, lead social media trainings, and review content approvals for local stores
Manage and source the influencer marketing program
Build cross functional relationships to support internal, community-based initiatives
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting

Requirements

3-5 years of social marketing experience in retail or a related field
Experience in a corporate digital marketing department or agency
Bachelor's Degree, Marketing or Advertising, digital preferred or relevant experience
Understanding and proficiency on major social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest
Experience with Sprout Social is preferred
Able to create fun, creative, engaging content for brand storytelling
Detail-oriented with an eye for consistency
Effective communicator
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Advertising, digital preferred or relevant experience
