About the Role
We are actively seeking a Social Media Specialist with strong Fintech experience to join a high-profile team supporting best-in-class social content across major platforms. This role involves creating, managing, and optimizing social media content, monitoring trends, and engaging with communities to enhance brand presence in the fintech sector. The position is remote and offered as a contractor role with competitive pay based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and optimize social content for X, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Develop and schedule engaging, brand-aligned copy
- Monitor trends, pop culture, and finance news for relevant content opportunities
- Manage content calendar and collaborate with creative teams for static and video content production
- Moderate comments and community engagement on owned channels
- Track analytics and adjust strategy based on performance data
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of proven experience as a Social Media Specialist, with significant Fintech expertise
- Proficiency in social media management tools (Meta Business Manager, Sprinklr, X Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Sprout Social)
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft bold, on-brand copy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Nice to Have
- Experience managing social media content in the fintech industry
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools
Qualifications
- Experience in social media management for 2-3+ years
- Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms
