Social Media Strategist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute channel-specific, captivating social media strategies on social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
• Plan, create, and publish high-quality content, including writing compelling, on-brand copy and producing engaging visual content tailored to each platform.
• Conduct analysis of target audiences and content performance, using data-driven insights to develop strategies for maximizing engagement, reach, and audience growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strategize social-first marketing opportunities tied to shopping trends, key brand moments, and tentpole events.
• Monitor and research trending content to proactively recommend and test new formats, platforms, and strategic approaches.
• Craft timely, engaging comments and interactions in response to trends and community conversation to drive engagement and grow channels.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of full-time experience in a social media management role.
• In-depth knowledge of social trends and prior experience in content creation across social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Proficient in visual editing tools and platforms, including Canva.
• Strong grammar, organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and KPIs, with experience using native platform analytics and third-party tools like Sprout Social, Later, Asana.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take initiative, and solve problems.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• E-commerce experience is a plus.
• Passion for testing, innovating, and staying ahead of social media trends.
