About the Role

The Social Media Strategist at Globe Life is responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies in collaboration with divisional leaders, agency owners, and social media administrators. This role involves communicating social media best practices, providing training through nationwide travel, and managing marketing assets such as Google Business listings, Birdeye profiles, and microsites. The position is remote and focuses on fostering a positive brand reputation and engagement while supporting the company's marketing and sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel nationwide to various locations to teach effective social media strategies and support events.
  • Occasionally travel internationally for major company events to provide support.
  • Act as an outgoing culture ambassador to foster positive brand reputation and engagement.
  • Coordinate social media strategies with the Marketing Team at corporate, agency, and individual levels.
  • Present brand standards and capabilities of Google Business listings, Birdeye profiles, microsites, and social media pages.
  • Stay proactively updated on the latest content requirements and trends in social media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in social media, graphic design, or digital marketing.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in social media design and/or account management.
  • Passion for social media and the digital marketing industry.
  • Enjoys frequent travel.
  • Outgoing public presenter with effective communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards new projects.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Strong proofreading and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere) is a plus.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout) and online reputation platforms (e.g., Birdeye, Talkwalker, Google My Business) is a plus.

  • Experience with video editing.
  • Experience with online reputation management platforms.
