About the Role

The Social Media Strategist will manage social media editorial calendars, develop compelling social copy, and support tactical execution for a leading semiconductor innovator. The role involves maintaining the company's social voice, executing across platforms, and collaborating with editorial, creative, and marketing teams. The position is based in Austin, TX, with a hybrid work model requiring three days in Southwest Austin.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute the social media editorial calendar
Write compelling, on-brand social copy that converts across all major platforms
Maintain consistent posting aligned with product launches and editorial priorities
Partner with cross-functional teams to source and package content that drives engagement
Stay ahead of trends and emerging platforms for a competitive edge
Enforce excellence standards and governance processes
Analyze performance metrics to inform smarter content decisions
Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline workflows and boost productivity

Requirements

3-5 years of social media, digital marketing, PR, or communications experience
Strong grasp of social media analytics and performance optimization
Expert writing and editing skills that make complex tech concepts accessible
Demonstrated organizational abilities with a track record of managing multiple high-priority projects
Collaborative success with stakeholder management examples
Proactive and resourceful with creative solutions
Resilience and adaptability to feedback
Balance confidence with humility
Proficiency with Sprout Social, ChatGPT, and Adobe Workfront is preferred
Deep platform knowledge across Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook
Technology or semiconductor industry experience strongly preferred
