About the Role

Jewish Community Partners (JCP) manages and supports both the Memphis Jewish Federation and the Jewish Foundation of Memphis. We are dedicated to enriching Jewish life, building a strong and connected community, and sustaining vital programs through strategic philanthropy and collective impact. We are seeking a mission-driven and creative Social Media, Website & Marketing Manager to lead digital communications and marketing efforts that inspire community engagement and philanthropic support. Working closely with the Director of Communications, you'll bring JCP's work to life online by creating compelling content that promotes community events, annual campaign priorities, donor impact stories, and opportunities to support the Jewish Foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow JCP's presence on Facebook, Instagram and 2 blogs
  • Create and schedule original content using Canva and Photoshop that promotes events, giving opportunities, and impact stories
  • Engage with the online community and monitor trends in nonprofit and Jewish communal engagement
  • Track analytics to measure success and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Maintain and update the JCP website with fresh content, including blog posts, donor spotlights, event pages, and reports
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure timely updates related to programs, events, and campaign milestones
  • Improve site usability and optimize for search engines and accessibility
  • Design and send regular email campaigns via Mailchimp, including event announcements, newsletters, and donor updates
  • Maintain audience segmentation and ensure brand consistency in email content
  • Track open and click-through rates and refine email strategy as needed
  • Support year-round marketing for the annual campaign and Foundation priorities
  • Promote donor engagement initiatives, legacy giving, and planned giving opportunities
  • Create promotional materials (digital and print) for major community events, fundraisers, and educational programs
  • Work with development team to align messaging with fundraising goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or communications (nonprofit or Jewish communal experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and WordPress
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
  • A collaborative spirit and willingness to contribute to a small, dynamic team
  • Passion for the mission and values of Jewish Community Partners and the Jewish community

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fundraising or campaign communications
  • Knowledge of Jewish traditions, calendar, and community life
  • Basic HTML or web troubleshooting experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or communications
