Social Media/Graphic Design Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and create visually appealing content, including images, videos, and graphics, that resonate with our target audience.
• Develop compelling captions and copywriting to accompany social media posts.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and adapt content strategies accordingly.
• Schedule and publish content across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design) to ensure brand consistency.
• Monitor social media engagement metrics and analytics to measure the success of content and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience creating social media content (portfolio or relevant coursework a plus).
• Strong understanding of social media best practices and current trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in video editing and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Canva).
• A creative eye for design and a passion for storytelling.
• The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
• Knowledge of our industry or a similar field.
• A strong personal brand and following on social media platforms.
