Software Developer/Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with Java and UI development, Python scripting, SQL query, web services, Camunda, monitoring, documentation, change control, troubleshooting, Shell/PowerShell, and process improvement.
• Develop custom automation to streamline support processes.
• Work both independently and within a high-functioning team environment.
• Present to audiences including senior management.
• Gather business requirements for product evidence and license compliance.
• Understand complex application infrastructure and model for license compliance reporting.
• Develop fault tolerant solutions with knowledge in horizontal scaling and resiliency/HA.
• Work with tools such as Tanium, Artifactory, Ansible, Bladelogic, and command line interfaces (CLI).
• Administer servers with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server.
• Apply enterprise design patterns, systems architecture, and systems engineering principles.
• Perform JVM tuning, memory, and performance analysis.
• Utilize system, network, security, and database operations, protocols, and industry-standard technologies.

Requirements

• B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc. / BCA / MCA with a preference for IT/CS specialization.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, Python.
• Experience with Spring, Camunda, Hibernate, WebServices (SOAP and REST).
• Knowledge of operating systems including Windows and RedHat Linux.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle.
• Familiarity with development tools like Eclipse, Visual Studio, VSCode, Git, Maven, Ant, Yarn, Jenkins, Ansible.
• Programming knowledge of dotnet and web development using Angular, ReactJS.
• Experience with tools such as Tanium, Artifactory, Ansible, Bladelogic.
• Experience in command line interfaces (CLI), third-party APIs, and integration.
• Server administration skills with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server.
• Understanding of fault-tolerant solutions, horizontal scaling, and resiliency/HA.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic environment and influence across regions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Web development using Angular, ReactJS.
• Knowledge of tools such as Tanium, Artifactory, Ansible, Bladelogic.
• Experience with server administration and enterprise design patterns.
• Knowledge of JVM tuning, memory, and performance analysis.

• Educational qualifications as specified: B.E., B. Tech, M.E., M. Tech, B.Sc., M.Sc., BCA, MCA with a focus on IT/CS.
