About the Role

The Software Engineer Graduate User Growth role at TikTok involves working with the User Growth team to improve the entire user growth funnel, including branding, acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention. Key Responsibilities

Build new TikTok Short Video features that reach hundreds of millions of users worldwide
Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems
Participate in technical discussions related to the team's product and engineering work

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience
Final year or recent graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Experience with coding in Python, Java, Golang, C#, or C++
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization

Nice to Have

Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
Curiosity towards new technologies and entrepreneurship
High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities

Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Golang, C#, or C++
