About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Translate insights into business recommendations
• Develop and debug machine learning models and systems
• Leverage state-of-the-art neural networks and objectives to real-world large-scale data and problem solving
• Develop highly scalable classifiers and embedding learners
• Implement similarity search and dimension reduction on massive scale of data and embeddings
• Build highly-scalable performant solutions for complex data processing and machine learning tasks

Requirements

• Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
• Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, MXNet, or TensorFlow
• Experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, computer vision, natural language processing, pattern recognition, signal processing, data mining, artificial intelligence, or information retrieval
• Knowledge of Hadoop, HBase, Pig, MapReduce, Sawzall, Bigtable, or Spark
• Developing and debugging in C, C++, and Java
• Proficiency with scripting languages: Perl, Python, PHP, or shell scripts
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like operating systems
• Ability to build highly-scalable, performant solutions
• Understanding of data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction
• Applying algorithms and core computer science concepts to real-world systems
• Experience with distributed systems
• Leveraging neural networks and machine learning models on large-scale data
• Developing scalable classifiers and embedding learners
• Experience with similarity search and dimension reduction on large datasets

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a related technical field
