As a Software Engineer in the Multi-Family BTO team, you will work on critical Freddie Mac Multi-Family Systems, collaborating with a team of full-stack Agile developers to enhance and modernize these systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop full stack solutions using Angular and Java Springboot.
  • Work on application development, bug fixes, security vulnerability fixes, and production support.
  • Support technology and tools changes/improvements on the delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with project team members to deliver end-to-end software product design and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of hands-on development experience.
  • Experience working with Agile Scrum software development process.
  • Proficiency in Java, Springboot, and Angular.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of unit testing and Cucumber.
  • Some automated pipeline deployment experience (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Solid understanding of multi-tier architectures, including front-end, back-end, database, and security.
  • Restful API / microservices development experience.
  • Good communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Languages: Node.js, Python, Transactional SQL queries.
  • Testing: Cypress Testing.
  • Modern tools: Jenkins, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git, Spinnaker.
  • Cloud: AWS.
  • Other: EKS, Docker, Openshift.

  • Educational background in computer science or engineering (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
