Software Engineer- Python/ Django/Linux: 5+yrs

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high quality SRE applications and tools for Cisco SDWAN management layer.
• Collaborate with team members to determine root cause of problems and the best course of action to resolve problems and avoid them in the future.
• Maintain cloud-hosted (AWS, Azure) development, staging, and production environments and their monitoring and alerting systems.
• Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of current technologies.
• Apply modern standard methodologies in your designs and implementation.

Requirements

• Experience in software development including specification, implementation and testing.
• Experience in Python, Django, Linux based systems.
• Proficiency in Python Programming; willingness to answer python coding questions.
• Familiar with AWS and Azure cloud development is an added advantage.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud deployments.
• Familiarity with various compliance standards such as PCI, ISO, SOC2, and FedRAMP.

• Experience in software development including specification, implementation and testing.
