Software Engineer (SUASMAN)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform software maintenance activities, supporting the sustainment and agile life cycle upgrades of the SUASMAN web application.
• Ensure comprehensive software documentation, including maintaining the Software Design Document (SDD).
• Record change, incident, and release management in the Change Management Database (CMDB) and Spring Goals documentation.
• Prepare release management documentation and Backup/Recovery Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Provide monthly technical, performance, and financial reports to the COR for capital planning and Investment Control.
• Assist in developing user documentation.
• Produce content for presentation to the Configuration Control Board (CCB) working group and provide meeting minutes with recommended SUASMAN web application changes.
• Author additions and modifications to the SDD for each minor release.
• Build and package releases according to Sprint Goals.
• Collaborate with SUAS Operations to maintain a one- to two-year roadmap for SUASMAN sustainment and lifecycle upgrades, including technology and operational objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in software engineering.
• 8570 compliance with Security+ certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of experience in Cloud Computing Environment (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge and skills in Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS), DevOps, Advanced .NET/CORE, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Microsoft IIS Web Servers, Microsoft SQL Servers, PKI Certificates, and Requirements.
• Familiarity with SCRUM Master methodologies, Source Control Management, System/software accreditation, and IA compliance knowledge.
• Understanding of STIGs Security Best Practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Security+ certification
• Minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience
