Key Responsibilities

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for various software applications and systems.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to the architectural design of new features and systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Review code developed by peers, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to industry best practices, including coding guidelines, observability, and testing.
  • Build testable software, define and automate tests using tools like Junit and Selenium, and leverage design patterns and the test automation pyramid.
  • Triage defects or customer-reported issues, debug, and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Contribute to maintaining the health and quality of services, identify and escalate issues, and assist in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Work within a DevOps model, taking ownership from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance in production.
  • Document new features, enhancements, or fixes, and contribute to training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with software development practices and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and bug tracking systems like JIRA.
  • Basic understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of software development experience.
