Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of our long-term vision and lead execution of our roadmap including definition, financial justification, release planning, and go-to-market strategy and planning.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, and the Marketing team to create a compelling value proposition for our Software, tailored to diverse markets including High Performance Computing/AI, Mobility, and Automotive Digital.
  • Develop and deliver dynamic and compelling messaging and technical differentiation for customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders while ensuring consistency and clarity across all communications.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product Development, Sales, and Operations to drive Software and test infrastructure transitions that maximize market share and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Own the overall licensing infrastructure, associated business process, individual product licensing structure, and license administration, including lifecycle management of our Software portfolio and associated infrastructure.
  • Perform industry and competitive benchmarking, operationalize the software product line strategy, and develop business requirements to support new product development.
  • Develop marketing messages and software product positioning briefs, conduct concept and usability testing, and measure new product performance against penetration, market share, customer satisfaction, and ROI objectives.
  • Lead business process development and implementation for license management infrastructure, guiding product structures and license entitlement business processes.
  • Support go-to-market planning including lead customer identification, beta testing, and account migration strategies, along with supporting field teams and customers during roll-out and lifecycle management.
  • Develop strategic relationships with customers and industry experts, participate in external conferences and forums to enhance the Teradyne brand and gather VOC.

Requirements

  • BS in engineering or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • MBA preferred, or equivalent business management experience.
  • Strong influence, leadership, and synthesis skills.
  • Prior experience in product management, product marketing, or product ownership with a focus on bringing software products to market is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • This role requires extensive integration and visibility across all functions of the business and at all levels.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or international relocation.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or equivalent business management experience.
  • Prior experience in product management, product marketing, or product ownership with a focus on software products.

Qualifications

  • BS in engineering or related field.
  • MBA preferred.
