About the Role

Specialist - Social Content & Partnerships will play a crucial role on the Integrated Marketing Team in ensuring Wendy's social media engagements are executed flawlessly and align with the creative brand strategy. This role will assist in content development, social media strategy execution, agency and partnership management across all off-premise initiatives. The position involves working closely with internal stakeholders and coordinating with agency partners to provide an innovative and holistic experience for Wendy's consumers within social and partnership environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executes tactics that deliver upon the social media strategy (paid and organic) in collaboration with internal teams, agency partners, and external collaborators to achieve seamless execution across platforms of our brand campaign and voice.
  • Participates in the creation and distribution of content across all social & digital channels, ensuring alignment with overall brand creative strategy.
  • Partners on the creation of culturally relevant, innovative and brand-consistent initiatives that lean into consumer passion points and fan truths.
  • Executes impactful events and activations that enhance brand presence and consumer engagement.
  • Oversees overall event management, including event staffing and placing product orders.
  • Serves as a connection point across Paid and Earned influencer workstreams, ensuring cohesion and consistency across social platforms and accounts.
  • Creates campaigns that deliver upon the brand's core values and engage Wendy's fans in a deeper conversation about the brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, required, with preferred majors including Advertising, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design.
  • Two plus years of social marketing experience, including familiarity with all major social platforms.
  • Understanding of external digital communication and social collaboration channels, trends, and applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects independently or as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proven ability to anticipate and solve problems with a consumer-first mindset.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and priorities.
  • Experience planning and executing complex events.
  • Maturity, composure, trustworthiness, and self-confidence to communicate clearly with franchise owners, senior officers, and teams.
  • Experience in disciplines such as graphic design, journalism, brand PR, external communications, and/or copywriting.
  • Experience working inside a creative agency or managing creative agency resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

  • The base pay range is $60,000 - $102,000 annually, with a target annual bonus of 7.5% of base salary.
