About the Role

The Community Specialist is responsible for managing the internal and external community communication channels for Essentia across organic social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X), Facebook Workplace, Nestlé campuses, Essentia Nation Rewards, and more. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct real-time social listening across platforms natively and utilize social listening tools to identify insights and act on opportunities in real-time.
  • Identify key consumers to strategically execute surprise and delight opportunities to build relationships on social media.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute Essentia's organic channel and content strategy that aligns with business goals, including audits and measurement plans.
  • Monitor and moderate all social mentions of brands across social channels to identify engagement opportunities and provide relevant insights to brands and teams.
  • Engage in real-time with consumers interacting with brand social channels, focusing on positive conversations, relevant trends, and cultural discussions.
  • Maintain organic and paid social media calendars, including copywriting, planning, scheduling, and publishing posts.
  • Identify influencers who organically engage with the brand for potential partnerships and programs.
  • Optimize existing agency-created assets and user-generated content to maintain active social presence, securing approvals and keeping records.
  • Attend in-person events and activations to provide coverage and content for social media.
  • Bring forward community-focused activation ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute them.
  • Coordinate influencer marketing campaigns in collaboration with the influencer marketing team.
  • Partner with the Customer Engagement Services team to address product questions and complaints, and collaborate on crisis management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on legal processes for social sweepstakes and contests.
  • Ensure marketing activations are updated on Facebook Workplace for internal awareness.
  • Coordinate product drops across campuses and update campus screens with relevant information.
  • Manage the Essentia Nation Rewards loyalty program, keeping imagery and prizes up to date, coordinating shipments, and supporting member engagement.
  • Serve as the primary contact for promotions and activations, ensuring timely deployment of promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs related to loyalty program engagement, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Deliver quarterly reports on social engagement and performance metrics to stakeholders.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned based on brand and team needs.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of the social media landscape and how to activate communities.
  • Fluent in understanding modern consumer wants and needs.
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in social media management representing a brand or organization.
  • Exceptional understanding of social trends, competitive landscape, best practices, and social analytics tools and metrics.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Canva Pro design, Instagram Reels video editing, and TikTok video editing.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with social listening tools like Talkwalker or other relevant tools.
  • Experience using Sprinklr social listening and publishing tools.
  • Experience with CPG brands, including work with large brands and partner agencies.
  • Passion for understanding consumers.

Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2-3 years of social media management experience.
