Job Description

About the Role

Our brands bridge the gaps we see in the world. Old Navy democratizes style to ensure everyone has access to quality fashion at every price point. Athleta unleashes the potential of every woman, regardless of body size, age or ethnicity. Banana Republic believes in sustainable luxury for all. And Gap inspires the world to bring individuality to modern, responsibly made essentials. This simple idea— that we all deserve to belong, and on our own terms—is core to who we are as a company and how we make decisions. Our team is made up of thousands of people across the globe who take risks, think big, and do good for our customers, communities, and the planet. The role involves analyzing large data sets and marketing results to make data-driven recommendations, developing analyses, maintaining reports, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and enabling decision-making through data visualization and modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze marketing effectiveness using SQL, Python, and Excel.
  • Use Adobe Analytics and other marketing platforms to gather data and insights.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders including Meta, Google, and third-party marketing agencies, as well as internal teams like Finance and Marketing.
  • Construct and design functional dashboards with PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Understand and build marketing mix regression models, including inputs and outputs.
  • Monitor media optimization KPIs such as ROAS, CPM/CPC, reach, frequency, Cost/Acquisition, and ecommerce metrics like Conversion, AUR, and AOS.
  • Deliver data visualizations and marketing insights via PowerPoint decks for leadership teams.
  • Apply knowledge of incrementality versus last click attribution and customer lifecycle metrics like CAC, retention rate, CLV, and NPS.
  • Project manage media testing, reporting, and ad hoc requests from start to finish with robust project plans and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a similar role or related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel for data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience with data visualization tools PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of marketing mix modeling, regression analysis, and media optimization KPIs.
  • Ability to deliver insights through presentations and dashboards.
  • Strong project management skills for media testing and reporting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with customer lifetime value (CLV), retention rate, and NPS metrics.
  • Knowledge of attribution models and customer journey analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant fields.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in data analysis or related roles.

Benefits & Perks

  • Merchandise discount for our brands: 50% off at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta; 30% off at Outlet.
  • One of the most competitive Paid Time Off plans in the industry.
  • Up to five 'on the clock' volunteer hours each month.
  • Extensive 401(k) plan with company matching contributions up to four percent.
  • Employee stock purchase plan.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
