Sr Analyst - US Markets

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support Commercial lines retail placement strategy execution.
• Collate carrier production reports and track performance against them.
• Prepare for carrier performance review sessions, including data analysis, material development, agenda building, and follow-up.
• Correspond regularly with national and regional placement teams to gather qualitative information on carrier performance.
• Conduct data analysis to produce detailed insights into the specialty portfolio.
• Translate data into potential business strategies.
• Provide foresight and risk/opportunity analysis for long-term planning within the US Markets team.
• Support the restructuring of carrier engagement approaches under the new divisional structure.
• Engage proactively with stakeholders within Acrisure to support their initiatives.
• Analyze carrier compensation plans and develop strategies to maximize revenue through those agreements.
• Develop communication materials explaining compensation structures to field teams and executives.
• Keep abreast of industry and market dynamics and prepare informative documentation for leadership.

Requirements

• Understanding of negotiation processes with the carrier community, including compensation and trading elements.
• Deep data and analytical skills related to (re)insurance portfolio data and carrier compensation plans.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in the US retail and/or wholesale insurance markets.
• Familiarity with all forms of compensation, including base commission, contingent, and supplemental.
• Experience in data reporting, strategy development, and utilizing technology to enhance performance.

• Experience with management of data review sessions, agenda building, and documentation development.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize technology to improve performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business administration, marketing, or finance.
• Minimum of five years of experience in the US retail and/or wholesale insurance markets.
