Key Responsibilities

  • Leads projects and teams, defining performance goals and execution from initiation to closure.
  • Leads scope definition, risk identification, methodology, and reports on project status.
  • Determines time frames, staffing, and resource requirements, and leads process improvements.
  • Manages projects to deliver within scope, on time, and on budget.
  • Identifies project interdependencies and ensures stakeholders understand and operate with these interdependencies in mind.
  • Develops and manages planning across initiatives.
  • Assesses time-sensitive project issues, develops solutions, and coordinates implementation to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
  • Reports to director on the operating plan, program's integration, dependency plan, activities, and efforts.
  • Plans, documents, and manages the performance of subordinate managers and/or staff, providing mentorship and training.
  • Manages process and project management deliverables from initiation through closure, including intake activities.
  • Drives the funding process through presentations, cost-benefit analysis, and business cases.
  • Leads and contributes to project scope and definition with stakeholders.
  • Identifies project duration, effort, sequence, and dependencies of tasks to meet objectives.
  • Monitors and documents project milestones and outcomes to ensure quality standards.
  • Facilitates project team meetings and communication with stakeholders.
  • Develops presentations, dashboards, reports, and other project communications.
  • Improves existing project management processes, discipline, and controls.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements risk mitigation, contingency, and recovery plans.
  • Documents and communicates project changes, health, and status to team, business owners, and executives.
  • Tracks and reports on project plans and budgets in line with governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 9+ Years Formal Project Management experience in a Financial Services environment.
  • 9+ Years Estimating and budgeting to ensure project costs are maintained.
  • 9+ Years Experience with SW Project Management tool.
  • 9+ Years Managing multi-year projects with cross-enterprise interdependencies.
  • 9+ Years Enabling individuals to work effectively through planning, implementation, and change management.
  • 9+ Years Building project planning documents.
  • 9+ Years Engaging support and resources of others to achieve project goals and influence without authority.
  • 9+ Years Developing and coaching others, delegating work to lower-level professionals.
  • Ability to influence others at an operational level regarding new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Knowledge of project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Clarity, Visio, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized with the ability to quickly adjust priorities in a complex environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and results-focused approach.
  • Expertise in Technology Program/Project Management or deep technology execution experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships and navigate organizational limitations.
  • Research, interpret, and incorporate industry and best practices into project management processes.
  • Ability to think both tactically and strategically.
  • Cross-cultural awareness, leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Benefits & Perks

  • The base pay range is from $90,000 to $160,000 USD annually, depending on skills, experience, and location.
