As a Senior Operations Coordinator, PathWays Support Services Liaison, you will serve as the single point of contact responsible for coordination with various health and social service agencies on behalf of UHC PathWays Members. You will develop and implement strategic business solutions through research and analysis, work collaboratively with management and partners to ensure compliance, and lead process improvement initiatives. The role involves working with health plan leadership and external partners to identify opportunities, support process alignment, and ensure policy consistency. If located in Indiana, you will have the flexibility to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
  • Analyze, review, forecast, audit and trend complex data to support continuous quality improvement using applicable tools
  • Review the work of others
  • Develop innovative approaches, recommend and implement business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes
  • Support short- and long-term operational/strategic business activities through analysis
  • Present analysis and recommendations for operational and business review/planning
  • Provide expertise and customer support to internal and external PathWays stakeholders
  • Create and maintain timely and accurate communication, and documentation with internal and external PathWays stakeholders' communications and engagement in internal systems

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with State Government Health, Human Services, or Healthcare business areas
  • 2+ years of experience in related Healthcare Business Analysis including performing analysis, reviews, forecasting, auditing and trending complex data to support continuous quality improvement
  • 1+ years of experience with Adult Protective Services (APS), Justice System, Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) and/or Long-Term Care (LTC) Ombudsman
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills
  • Proven ability to work in a high-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Has previously worked or is currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing business and/or system requirements
  • Experience with documenting processes and practices
  • Indiana Medicaid experience
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Access, SharePoint and Visio
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with programmers, analysts, immediate supervisor, management, system users, operations, and State agencies
  • Proven ability to recognize, gather, correlate, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and devise solutions and alternatives and make appropriate recommendations
