About the Role

This candidate will take direction from analytical professionals, IT, Sales, and customers to design, document, test, and support the construction of internal and customer facing data visualization solutions that provide critical business insights. This person will learn and follow existing strategies, standards and best practices in the areas of data visualization, data access and data integration within Equifax's new big data analytical platforms as well as build and design dashboards and reports as scoped by clients and internal teams that summarize vast quantities of data. This position provides the candidate the ability to learn agile data wrangling methodologies and contribute to Equifax's mission through real, meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities

Mine large amounts of data and perform data analysis to extract useful business insights for Operations.
Use software and other tools to develop analyses that identify patterns, influences, correlations, relationships and predictive factors.
Create data models to be deployed into Production environment using the mined data in order to produce consistent and reliable insights to enable our customers to make informed decisions in managing their businesses.
Apply business acumen and previous experience to manage large-scale enterprise projects.
Participate in team, projects and staff meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) and/or 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years working with data, automation, and/or visualization tools.
Prefer experience with managing contact center reporting.
Strong Excel/SQL ability; Visualization tools (Tableau/Spotfire/Salesforce).
Demonstrated proficiency in R, Python, SAS or another statistical software package.

Nice to Have

Advanced computer skills including the Google Suite or MS Office suite.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills applied to understanding and decomposing financial, business and technical concepts.
Ability to operate with minimal guidance and supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members, IT teams, internal customers and management.
