About the Role

A client in the North Houston area is looking for a Sr Front-end Engineer to join their team. This role involves updating real-time displays with acquired application data, producing performance data, performing advanced analysis and diagnostics, working with proprietary domain data, and collaborating with multiple teams, scientists, and executives. The position emphasizes experience in a technical environment, object-oriented design, and real-time data production. Key Responsibilities

Updating real-time displays with acquired application data
Producing relative performance data
Performing advanced analysis and diagnostics for scientists to view data on Google Chart
Inputting data to perform plotting for end users to review
Aggregating processes with dashboards
Working heavily with a proprietary domain
Contributing to the full project lifecycle from concept to deployment
Developing unit and integration tests

Requirements

7+ years of software development experience
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, specifically React
Ability to contribute to the full project lifecycle from concept to deployment for multiple ongoing projects
Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., Highcharts)
Software engineering experience in object-oriented design
Proven record working on very technical projects
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and back-end integration
Strong communication skills
Experience with Windsurf (formerly Codeium), Cursor, or any AI tool

Qualifications
