About the Role

The Sr IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full lifecycle of multiple, complex IT projects. This role involves planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to ensure successful delivery and compliance with security and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple, complex IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, utilizing Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and communication strategies.
Work with vendors and other agencies to complete Cloud Service Agreements (CSA) and other required IT/Program Agreements and documentation for supported applications.
Collaborate with IT Security teams to complete Software Security Assurance Process (SSAP), Application Scans, Rapid7 Scans, and other mandated scans, working with IT/Vendor teams to resolve vulnerabilities.
Oversee user test plans, UAT assistance, and support for system deployments, upgrades, QA-UAT, and post-production activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, with significant experience managing large-scale, complex projects.
Proven experience with both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.
PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of various IT domains, including software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.
Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps).
Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and competing demands.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, Microsoft SQL, SQL Server, C++, .Net, XML, ASP is a plus.
