The role involves product design, development, and delivery, with a focus on complex over-the-top products like SASE/SD-WAN, Security, and Collaboration/Voice, as well as Networking-as-a-Service technologies. The Product Manager will shape the experience for Lumen's Channel Partners and ensure products meet their specific business needs, interacting with executive and operational levels.

Key Responsibilities

Matches product features & functionality with available resources within IT, Operations, and Technology, while balancing the market needs & expectations.
Guides and directs development experts within IT to ensure OSS is properly built to meet product specifications.
Evaluates and scrutinizes the project plan and all product specifications for accuracy, completeness, and achievability.
Serves as an expert in complex product design, understanding Lumen OSS and communications technologies.
Acts as a team leader who can cast vision, illustrate tactics/strategy, and hold team members accountable.
Serves as a corporate spokesperson, sales support expert, and teacher to junior and senior product managers across all VPs and other business units.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
5+ years' experience as a Product Manager in the telecommunications or technology industries supporting complex products like SASE/SD-WAN, Security, and Collaboration/Voice, as well as experience with adaptive, Networking-as-a-Service technologies.
Experience with SAFe Agile methodology.
Market research and data analytics skills.
Knowledge of software development methodologies.
Experience with product strategy and prototyping.
Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Nice to Have

UX/UI experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

Relevant experience supporting complex products in telecommunications or technology industries.
Educational background aligned with the role requirements.
