SR LEAD PROJECT MANAGER - PUB SEC

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the complete life cycle of all IPTS program orders in Japan, including pre-sales site surveys, development and implementation of technical solutions, and sustainment.
• Meet directly and in person with DISA's Japan Field Offices at least quarterly to assess customer satisfaction and identify process improvements.
• Work closely with Japanese customers, vendors, and internal IPTS team members to ensure smooth implementation and support of services.
• Assist with status reporting of assigned orders.
• Coordinate site access requests and test scheduling.
• Participate in pre-sales efforts including technical sales presentations, architecture design discussions, proof-of-concept engagements, and technical workshops.
• Provide internal feedback regarding customer experience, product features/functionality, and service implementation/management.
• Engage in complex discussions with internal teams to drive solutions and outcomes.
• Understand intra-Japan network architecture and subsea network touch points.
• Coordinate updates for enterprise customer orders with regional and local Lumen APAC stakeholders.
• Drive customer orders to meet delivery dates and increase monthly installed revenues for Japan and APAC.
• Support sales of Lumen products and services in APAC in collaboration with regional sales teams.
• Lead local projects in Japan to meet business and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Fluent in Japanese (Level 1).
• US citizen living in Japan.
• PMP or equivalent of 2 years project management experience.
• Have or able to achieve a Secret Clearance.
• Support project management activities and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Technical knowledge across Lumen technology pillars such as global network infrastructure, edge cloud, security, and communication services.
• Ability to lead and engage in complex technical discussions.
• Experience supporting customer-facing technical projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience with intra-Japan network architecture and subsea network infrastructure.
• Experience supporting pre-sales technical efforts and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years project management experience (PMP or equivalent).
• Fluency in Japanese (Level 1).
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
