Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of data-based insights to inform brand, franchise, and business unit strategy and execution.
  • Oversee, set agenda, and provide support and guidance to the team in performance/KPI development and reporting, including best practice sharing across TAs.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing leadership to establish an annual business analytics plan for each brand.
  • Leverage data and analytics to develop key insights to inform each brand's strategy through the BPOA process.
  • Conduct analytics projects to inform a range of business issues, including HCP and patient segmentation, customer journey and treatment flow analytics, sampling strategy and analytics.
  • Design and implement HQ-facing dashboards and reports for performance reporting and diagnostics.
  • Evaluate potential new secondary data sources and analytics methodologies to elevate business analytics impact.
  • Integrate insights from various sources to inform material decisions and consolidate data into actionable brand opportunities.
  • Provide objective quantitative analyses and develop business cases for key opportunities and critical business issues.
  • Collaborate within the department to ensure business analytics are integrated into Tactic Measurement and Marketing Mix work.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate new capabilities from the AI/Predictive Analytics Lab.
  • Interact with internal customers including VP, executive directors, marketing team, and IT to maintain relationships and understand business needs.
  • Lead and conduct quarterly reviews with key stakeholders to share insights and analysis on business, brand, and market issues.
  • Manage external consulting resources from a project delivery perspective.

Requirements

  • Strong analytics and people management skills required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience managing projects, initiatives, and people.
  • Pharmaceutical or consumer data analytics/insight experience required.
  • Proficiency in secondary data analysis with knowledge of industry secondary data sources (e.g., IMS, WK, IPSOS).
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant software systems (e.g., MS Excel, Tableau, MS Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to pull insights from various sources and develop strategic guidance for brand teams.
  • Strong business and marketing acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a matrix team environment and gain consensus.
  • Educational qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years' experience, or Master's Degree with 6+ years' experience, or Ph.D. with 2+ years' experience.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or Master's degree preferred, with concentrations in healthcare, general management, analytics, or data sciences.
  • Consultative background preferred.
  • Experience with industry secondary data sources and analytics methodologies.
  • Experience managing projects and teams in a pharmaceutical or consumer data environment.

  • Salary range: $169,320.00 - $219,120.00, with potential for discretionary annual bonus and stock-based long-term incentives.
