Sr Manager Data Visualization

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an interface with selected business units and GIS Sales, Operations, Engineering, Service and Finance domains for the purpose of business and Business intelligence, big data and AI/ML technology strategy alignment, solution discovery, service management, project portfolio management.
• Validate and ensure design integrity of Business Intelligence, big data and AI/ML application and platform solutions to address complex cross functional needs.
• Oversee application and platform development and configuration for complex individual projects and/or across multiple, concurrent projects.
• Develop testing and data integration strategies.
• Identify and recommend industry best known methods for integrated solution design and standards, and develop and enforce defined standards.
• Keep abreast of technologies in the market and drive new technology evaluations.
• Oversee business Intelligence, big data and AI/ML application and platform support services to meet performance, availability, customer service level agreement and customer satisfaction targets.
• Ensure systems are monitored and tuned for availability and performance, and that root cause analysis is performed with preventative/corrective actions implemented.
• Oversee execution of application and platform lifecycle activities.
• Ensure delivery of project and support services within area of responsibility within allocated budget.
• Develop project budgets and understand cost models and cost drivers for services.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to project management, software development, testing, service management, change management, RCA, and other relevant processes, standards, governance and controls.
• Manage execution of SOX controls and testing, and support internal and external audits.
• Plan and manage large-scale, complex Business Intelligence, Big Data or AI/ML application or platform projects to ensure effective and efficient execution.
• Oversee contingent workers performing Business Intelligence, Big Data and AI/ML services across multiple projects or service areas.
• Ensure contingent workforce utilization is optimized and manage onboarding/offboarding processes.

• Full-time employee with willingness to travel up to 10%.
