Sr Manager, Downstream Marketing (Radiology)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive downstream marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and enhance customer engagement in alignment with divisional and organizational goals.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and product performance to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate closely with upstream marketing, sales, and R&D teams to ensure alignment across product lifecycle strategies.
• Lead the execution of marketing initiatives, including product launches, promotional campaigns, sales enablement tools, and customer education programs.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and adjust strategies as needed to maximize impact.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., regulatory, clinical, operations) to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing downstream marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to elevate team capabilities and career growth.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and organization.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, thought leaders, and stakeholders to ensure Hologic remains a trusted partner in breast surgery solutions.
• Represent the division at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to gather insights and strengthen brand presence.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure marketing programs are delivered on time and within scope.
• Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize marketing strategies and align with organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in downstream marketing within the medical device industry, with a strong track record of success in product launches, customer engagement, and market growth strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Deep understanding of the medical device market, particularly in women’s health or surgical solutions, is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver impactful results.
• Ability to travel as necessary for occasional business-specific meetings or events.

• Knowledge of breast screening procedures, technologies, and customer needs.
• Familiarity with regulatory and clinical considerations in the medical device industry.
