Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with multiple Product Owners and Product leadership teams from ideation to product maturity, including IT evaluation exercises.
  • Work with multiple IT and business areas to develop IT solutions, strategies, MVPs, and provide guidance on ranges and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate release planning, oversee delivery milestones, resolve issues, and remove barriers to project execution.
  • Evaluate all work in progress, build contingency plans, and execute corrective actions to mitigate risks such as scope and budget variances.
  • Ensure projects and enhancements align with commercial product delivery objectives by understanding business drivers and issues.
  • Identify and leverage project interdependencies to promote benefits realization and cost savings across the portfolio.
  • Ensure delivery milestones are met and project activities are completed on time for successful IT delivery.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Sales teams, Underwriters, Compliance, and various Technology Teams including Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure.
  • Provide insights into current state of technical capabilities and manage multiple concurrent implementations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional domain/technical teams and explore new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve digital solutions.
  • Create and maintain functional and technical documentation, including system designs and workflows, ensuring end-to-end traceability.
  • Lead and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the engineering team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with large customer implementation, collaborating with stakeholders to mature product concepts from initial stages to deployment.
  • 6+ years of experience working with external vendors supporting various programs for commercial plan sponsors.
  • 5+ years of experience working with engineering and cross-functional teams to solve complex business and technical problems.
  • 5+ years of experience with agile methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting payors' needs.
  • 4+ years of experience independently managing deliverables.
  • 3+ years of experience in effort estimation.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Healthcare Business Management, or related fields.

  • Prior experience dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with complex systems and analytical problem-solving.
  • Experience delivering new commercial medical product concepts within tight budgets and timelines.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in relevant fields.
