Sr. Manager - Social Media

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Goosehead's business objectives.
• Lead and mentor the social media team, empowering them to produce innovative, high-quality content.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, providing regular performance reports along with actionable insights.
• Manage and execute high-level campaigns, including original text, photo, and video content, to build brand awareness and engagement.
• Collaborate with recruiting, franchise, sales, service and marketing teams to align social media initiatives with broader company goals.
• Monitor and optimize social media accounts for SEO, web traffic, engagement metrics and lead generation.
• Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, including the design and layout of social media accounts.
• Proactively identify and implement new social media tools, features, and trends to keep Goosehead at the forefront of the digital space.
• Manage executive social media for the CEO and CFO on LinkedIn.
• Lead thought leadership initiatives for the company and executives by working closely with the Sr. Manager of Content Creation.
• Support internal communications and crisis communications if needed.
• Oversee the management of customer feedback and engagement, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and reviews.
• Partner with legal and marketing teams to maintain a strong, compliant, and responsive online presence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 10+ years of proven experience in social media management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience in content creation and management across all major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Strong understanding of social media strategy, including audience segmentation, platform-specific trends, and ROI analysis.
• Proven track record of driving growth, engagement, and successful campaign execution.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
• Outstanding copywriting and creative storytelling skills.
• Advanced knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
• Expertise in online marketing channels and digital advertising.
• Familiarity with web design principles and brand consistency.
• Strong analytical and multitasking skills, with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
