About the Role

The Senior Manager, Digital Analytics & Insights at Republic Services is responsible for leading the development and execution of the analytics strategy that enhances digital customer experiences, drives revenue growth, and supports customer retention. This role involves building and managing a team of analysts, defining KPIs, developing an omni-channel analytics framework, and providing insights to optimize digital performance. The position supports broader initiatives such as customer data personalization, operational data mastery, and digital self-service success metrics within a customer-centric organization committed to sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Builds and leads a team of digital marketing analysts and related personnel to provide daily analysis identifying anomalies and opportunities across the Customer Zeal portfolio.
  • Creates and manages processes to communicate and track actions identified by analysts with digital peers and stakeholders, aligning opportunities with corporate strategy.
  • Leads KPI definition, reporting, and analysis across the multi-year Customer Experience transformation roadmap.
  • Develops a comprehensive omni-channel digital analytics strategy encompassing people, processes, and technology to transform the organization into a data-driven entity.
  • Executes the digital marketing analytics strategy in partnership with stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Establishes a test and experimentation culture across digital touchpoints using statistical significance parameters and integrated technology for A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Proactively analyzes key drivers of digital marketing performance and delivers insights to channel owners for optimization of user experience and media spend effectiveness.
  • Reviews and recommends improvements to the analytics technology stack based on new technologies and business needs.
  • Supports the Field Program Management organization with data analysis, test results, and ongoing insights for key initiatives.
  • Supports customer data personalization initiatives through shared audience definitions and standards.
  • Owns the digital customer self-service success metrics and KPIs, including environmental solutions touchpoints.
  • Manages development resources to define standards for new measurement protocols aligned with industry advancements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience evaluating, implementing, and utilizing enterprise tag management, web analytics, and testing technologies.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics and supporting technology stack including search, paid advertising, email, website (including eCommerce), marketing automation, and CRM.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, SFDC, PowerBI, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with structured and unstructured databases and repositories.
  • Experience with modern data architecture, including data virtualization and storage solutions like Denodo and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with measurement-adjacent MarTech tools such as session replay, testing tools, personalization engines, and digital customer experience tools.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical curiosity and ability to communicate effectively across levels and functions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in enterprise and customer analytics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch.
  • Leadership experience in driving strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to translate data into compelling narratives to influence business decisions.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of progressive digital marketing experience.
  • 5 years of web analytics experience.
  • 2 years of enterprise analytics experience.
