About the Role

The Partner Development Director, EY Americas role involves driving and nurturing relationships with System Integrator (SI) partners, specifically with EY, to strengthen and expand collaboration between Snowflake and these partners. The role focuses on driving growth through joint business plans, GTM strategies, partner enablement, and customer success, leveraging strategic alliance leadership and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with partners to build comprehensive joint business plans and collaborate on joint GTM strategies including strategic objectives and target markets/industries.
  • Define joint industry solutions and offerings that demonstrate capability and differentiate the partner.
  • Achieve partnership goals including sales quota and marketing activities.
  • Inspire partners to grow their practices with Snowflake by evaluating their expertise, capabilities, and delivery quality, and activating GTM programs accordingly.
  • Define certification growth plans and support enablement of the partners.
  • Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with key senior executives and decision-makers at the partners.
  • Manage the alliance development lifecycle for partners with effective partner management skills.
  • Collaborate with departments such as product development, sales, sales engineering, professional services, legal, and marketing to ensure a seamless partner and customer experience.
  • Share partner and customer feedback with relevant teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and execute co-marketing activities, including events, webinars, and content creation, to increase partner brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Assist partners in navigating Snowflake's partner program and sales process, including deal registration, proposal support, and reporting.
  • Monitor the performance and success of assigned partners, and adapt strategies to meet key metrics and deliver results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in partner management, strategic alliances, sales, marketing, or business development in technology.
  • 5+ years of channel sales or channel program management experience with accountability for revenue targets.
  • Track record of success and established relationships with Snowflake's System Integrators, specifically with EY.
  • Ability to manage regional business plans and track partner progress.
  • Strong executive presence and polished communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to organize priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud environments is preferred.
  • Travel required: estimated at 25-50% (variable).

Qualifications

Benefits & Perks

  • Participation in Snowflake's commission plan with total on-target earnings of $315,000 - $350,000.
  • Estimated base salary of $220,500 - $245,000.
  • Eligibility for Snowflake's equity plan.
