About the Role

The Sr. Product Management Specialist is a key role responsible for managing and optimizing the product portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and market demands. This senior-level position involves leading complex projects, providing strategic insights, and working cross-functionally to drive product success. The role requires a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, market trends, and portfolio strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of the product portfolio, including performance tracking, analysis, and optimization. Develop and implement strategies to enhance portfolio value and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define and execute portfolio strategies. Contribute to long-term planning and strategic decision-making based on market trends and business objectives.
  • Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle to ensure effective management of product development, launches, and phase-outs.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and customer needs. Use insights to inform product strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work closely with R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on product initiatives. Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to support successful product execution.
  • Lead key portfolio projects, including new product launches, product enhancements, and market expansions. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the portfolio. Analyze performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and other stakeholders to gather feedback, address issues, and build strong relationships. Utilize feedback to drive product improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and support their professional development. Share expertise and best practices to enhance team capabilities and performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching offerings.
  • Strong cross-functional work experience with analytical and market research skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft tool knowledge.
  • SAP or Oracle experience.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in automation technologies industry.
